 Environmental Stewardship
You will also have the opportunity to volunteer at our partner school, the Centro de Educacion Creativa (CEC). Many of our local participants attend this unique, environmentally focused school, where the students care for 100+ acres of cloud forest. Volunteer assignments include tree planting, working in the greenhouse and gardens, trail maintenance, painting classrooms, or working in the school library. Theatre Education
Make an immediate difference in the lives of children from the local community by sharing your passion for the performing arts! As an MTC participant, under the guidance of our staff, you will teach theatre, dance and music to children from the area. Children in Monteverde do not have the opportunities for after-school activities and vacation programs that we are accustomed to, and are very excited to participate - they are already looking forward to next year! Our children’s program is the first of its kind and your service is instrumental in making it possible.  |
